**Hot Weather Disclaimer**
During the warmer months, there is a chance that your body butter may melt and lose its whipped texture. To help mitigate this, all packages are insulated and packed with a cooling gel pack before shipping. Additionally, a "protect from heat" sticker is placed on the outside of the shipping box, alerting the carrier service that the package is heat-sensitive. Despite these measures, once the package leaves our warehouse and is picked up by the carrier service, we unfortunately have no control over delays, how the package is transported (cool or hot delivery van), or where the carrier leaves the package at your shipping address.
Although the measures we take may reduce the risk of the products melting, they do not guarantee this 100%.
How Can You Help?
Once an order is processed, a confirmation email is sent to the email address provided for the order. Included in this email is a carrier tracking number. Within 24 hours of receiving the tracking number, the carrier service will show an accurate delivery date. We recommend having someone available to receive your package immediately upon delivery.
Depending on the weight of your package, we may ship with either USPS or UPS. Both carriers offer a free delivery tracking service that will alert you via email and/or SMS text when a package is out for delivery and when it has been delivered. You can sign up for USPS Informed Delivery or UPS My Choice for these notifications.
What If My Order Arrives Melted?
If your product does melt, simply place it in the refrigerator for approximately one hour or until it solidifies. Using an electronic hand mixer, whip the butter until you achieve a fluffy, whipped consistency. Please note, we do not offer returns for melted or opened products, despite our best efforts to prevent melting.
